Rapper J. Cole made quite an entrance during his 4 Your Eyez Only Tour as he took to the stage dressed in an orange prison-issued jumpsuit while escorted by 4 prison guards.
Cole’s manager, Ibrahim Hamad, said the rapper wore prison orange to protest the mass incarceration of black males in a racist society. Ibrahim said Cole had a "life changing experience" when he visited an actual prison, San Quentin, on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

When ‘Chief Priest Say’, a satirical column written by the enigmatic Fela Kuti was canceled in the 1980s, first by Daily Times, then the Punch, it had served its purpose, almost to the point of redundancy.
Since the 70s, Fela had steadily bought advertising spaces in newspapers and published scathing yet humorous exposes on the African situation.
The articles spoke about cultural hegemony and colonial oppression in a voice that called on humor as much as militant aggression; an extension of the infamous Yabis nights that he held at his nightclub, the Africa Shrine.

Rotimi Amaechi Wike has no evidence against me – Minister says
The
minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has said that the Governor
of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike does not have any evidence against him.
Wike had earlier told traditional rulers in Rivers state that the state government has evidence of Amaechi’s looting.
The minister also dismissed the Rivers Governor’s claims, describing it as false and provocative.
Amaechi also said that he ran a transparent and corruption free administration when he served as Governor of Rivers state.

Starboy Music boss, Wizkid has made peace with the man he reportedly assaulted while attempting to take the singer's picture at a night club in Lagos.
