The 89th Oscar academy awards seemed to be in full sway without incident until the nomination for best picture was announced.

Nollywood actress, Seyi Hunter, has some words of advise for colleagues Lilian Esoro and Tonto Dikeh.
The actress, in a recent interview with Potpourri bared her thoughts on the many cases of infidelity rocking some marriages in the industry.
In her words:

TGIF — A very popular abbreviation, loved by many.. Literally Everybody usually Thank God It’s Friday! So, on Friday, Big Brother Naija Evicted Housemates, Gifty and Soma clubbed and had fun at Club Rumors and they took this cozy beautiful photo together.
Recall the two ex-housemates had a brief affair while in the Big Brother Naija house. Perhaps they’re planning on getting back?
We doubt! ‘Cos, Gifty in an interview said Soma wasn’t her type.. and Soma also said the same!

Wizkid Shows Off His N1million Gucci Jacket

Wizkid is definitely one of the biggest names in African music and he continues to keep his consistence.
The ‘Star Boy’ took to his Instagram to share a few photos of himself as he wrapped up on the video set for one of his singles.

Kemen is apparently, a snake! Yesterday, while trying to convince Uriel, that he was into her, he began to blast TBoss. It should be noted that Kemen has actively been chasing TBoss for a while in the house but she has constantly been turning him down. In his words:
“All the guys in the show like Tboss but just as a trophy girl. She doesn’t have confidence and doesn’t know her worth.”

Chris Brown & 50 Cent Announce ‘The Party Tour’ Dates

Looks like there’s a change in plan. 50 Cent and Chris Brown are co-headliners of the tour and French Montana is no longer part of it. That’s no surprise as like we mentioned in our article earlier, it was surprising that 50 and French had agreed to be on the same tour together, considering their past little issues.

J. COLE ANNOUNCES ‘4 YOUR EYEZ ONLY’ WORLD TOUR

As some fans speculated, J. Cole has announced a full fledged tour in support of his latest album 4 Your Eyez Only.

The new album, released on December 9th, may have received mixed reactions from fans but it has done very well on the commercial front. It was certified Gold by the RIAA in second week of January. The first leg of Cole’s tour will kick off on June 1st in Columbia, SC and conclude in Greensboro, NC on June 18th. It picks up again on July 6 in Phoenix, AZ and run through major markets of L.A., Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami and more before finishing off in Dallas, Texas on August 20th.

West African Idols 2007 runner-up, and gospel artist, Eric Arubayi, died on February 11th at Delta State University Teaching Hospital after battling an illness. Rapper, Yungsix isn't pleased with the 'fake love' his fellow colleagues began to show the singer after his death and spoke his mind in a short interview with HipTV. He said:

On Sunday, February 19, 2017, Ryan Seacrest's $50 million mansion caught fire and left some heavy damage in its wake. Ryan shared a photo of the aftermath showing some burned out structures, but he added, "Thank god everyone is ok."

Ryan bought the sprawling Beverly Hills estate from Ellen DeGeneres back in 2012 for $49 mil. The 9,200 sq ft home sits on nearly 3 acres.

DSS Picks Up Choc City President, Audu Maikori Over Southern Kaduna Comment

There’s been rumors all day, now LIB can confirm that operatives of DSS have picked up Chocolate City president, Audu Maikori. We learnt that he was picked up in Lagos this morning and has been transported to Abuja where’s he currently being held.

His arrest is connected with his recent comments on the Southern Kaduna killings. Days ago, Maikori, retracted a story he shared online where he said that 5 students of the Kaduna state College of Education were killed in the Southern Kaduna crisis.

According to Maikori, after carrying out a detailed investigation that involved the police, he found out that his driver who claimed his brother was also killed, lied to him just to extort money. (Read more here)

According to the producers of "Hire A Man," the new romantic comedy has grossed 8 million naira in 3 days.

Directed by Desmond Elliot and produced by Chineyelove Eze, the movie made its debut in cinemas nationwide on February 10, 2017.
