A SHORT SPEECH DELIVERED BY THE INCOMING PRESIDENT OF BASSA NGE ONLINE COMMUNITY (BNOC)

A SHORT SPEECH DELIVERED BY THE INCOMING PRESIDENT OF BASSA NGE ONLINE COMMUNITY (BNOC), ALHAJI ALIYU YUNUSA DURING THE INAUGURATION OF NEWLY ELECTED EXECUTIVES HELD ON 7TH JULY, 2018 AT CONFLUENCE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY, LOKOJA, KOGI STATE.
All Protocols Respectfully Observed.
I sincerely thank every member of BNOC who continuously believe in my capacity to lead. My reelection as the President of BNOC is a clear sign of unity and purposive leadership. I am humbled and accepted this responsibility of championing sustainable development in our land.

BNOC in the next two years by special grace of God will be consolidate on the current achievements and further open other frontiers for more achievements. We are unique people with extraordinary qualities and as such, greatness can be attained as a people. We are here to provide the needed leadership.
As a President since 2016, I fully understand the various challenges plaguing the Community and we have strategies to addressing them. It is not going to be easy but we are determined to succeed. However, our success is a function of our collective resolve to making positive impact. I have no doubt in my mind that, Bassa Nge are ready to leave their comfort zone for the stability, development and progress of Bassa Nge race.

BNOC is not about me as a President, it is about us as Bassa Nge. The objectives are clearly stated and our achievements so far, have shown that through community based effort, progress can be made. We are not tired and we won’t give up.
On behalf of the newly inaugurated executive members, I promise to take BNOC to the next level. We shall provide more water to communities and also expand our scholarship drive to accommodate more students. We are aware of the capital involvement but I am optimistic that it is achievable with all of you here.
As we all know, no meaning development without funds. BNOC as a developmental platform needs financial resources to accomplish its laudable objectives. Although, there are plans to create businesses that will internally generate income for the Community. However, we shall continue to disturb our people for their little contributions. To this end, I appeal to members to voluntarily pay their annual dues. One thing is certain about BNOC-accountability.
Finally, I thank you all and pray God takes everyone to his or her various destinations. We are better as a team.
May God bless us all.
